As an employee of the meeting service at Van Lanschot Kempen, you are the face of our clients. You work within the client-focused and driven team 'Facility Management Operations' on the 17th floor of our building and, together with your colleagues, make a difference in our Customer Journey. If you are energetic, presentable, service-oriented, and do your work with a smile, you can make a difference for our internal and external clients.

For our office on Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam, we are looking for an all-round hospitable colleague for our meeting center team. Part of your daily work is to warmly welcome our guests and ensure they lack nothing. During lunches and dinners with clients, you bring that little extra. You are part of the Hospitality Team.

Furthermore, you will be involved in:

  • Preparing and serving meeting lunches and for events.
  • Welcoming guests warmly and ensuring they feel welcome.
  • Proactively preparing and planning tasks in collaboration with your colleagues and other departments within our facility management team.
  • Communicating with both internal and external clients to provide the best possible service.
  • Taking on small projects to improve the guest experience or work environment.
  • Proactively thinking in a client-oriented manner with the aim of surprising clients.
  • Keeping track of inventory, placing orders, and reporting malfunctions and/or maintenance.
  • Fulfilling guest requests with a professional and friendly attitude.

The advantage of working at Van Lanschot Kempen is that workdays do not fall on weekends.

  • A representative appearance
  • Several years of experience in the hospitality or service sector
  • A proactive work attitude
  • Flexibility in working hours: you are available to start early shifts at 07:30 hrs and working late shifts at least two times a week (max. until 23:00 hrs).
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in Dutch and a strong command of English

  • A gross monthly salary between €2,750 and €3,250, depending on your knowledge and experience, based on a 40-hour workweek (fewer hours are negotiable)
