Scrum Master

As a Scrum Master within the Data Management department, you have the opportunity to make a real impact by coaching your teams and contributing to their success within the organization. Your teams are a diverse group of professionals whom you will support in growing their Agile maturity. You are a natural coach, an active listener, and a proactive problem solver who can communicate effectively with the respective Product Owners.

You constantly look for ways to improve the Scrum process and collaborate with the teams to achieve departmental goals by helping them stay focused on their work. With your experience as a Scrum Master, you guide the team in understanding their boundaries and support them in moving beyond those boundaries by refining Scrum practices, providing workshops, and inspiring continuous improvement.

Working together with other Scrum Masters in the department and in the organization, you know how AI can add value in the agile way of working, you use it where applicable, and you can share this in your team and between your fellow Scrum Masters.

Your talents

You are curious, focussed on the scum process without losing sight on the people side and an easy communicator. This is how we can best describe you in the position of Scrum Master. Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if you also proactive and think pragmatically.

You also have:

• At least 5 years of working experience

• Experience as a Scrum Master or as Team Lead

• Assertiveness, decisiveness, and strong communication skills

• Experience in working with deadlines in an agile way of working is a plus

• Experience within a financial institution is a plus

• Good mastery of English and Dutch, both oral and written

The Data Management department is part of the Digital, Advanced Analytics & Technology (DAAT) cluster. Within DAAT, more than 400 colleagues play a crucial role in driving our organisation’s digital capabilities. Together, we provide a world-class technology and data platform, supporting areas such as asset management.

Data Management consists of around 60 colleagues, divided across 8 teams, each with its own focus. Together, the teams are responsible for maintaining, improving, and testing the Data Warehouse, various data platforms, and applications—including the AFAS application. Roles within the department are diverse and complementary, ranging from Developer and Data Architect to Functional Administrator and Product Owner.
