As a Data Engineer at the Digital Innovation & Analytics department, you will join the Non-Financial Risk and People Analytics team. You will work in a multidisciplinary Scrum team in which you are responsible for automating business processes and building data products that inform and drive decision-making, such as models, dashboards, and AI solutions, focusing on the following domains: Compliance, Non-financial Risk, Internal Control, and HR. Join the team and start shaping the future of Wealth Management leveraging data and AI.

You also have the following tasks:

  • Data Pipeline Automation: Setting up automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data from various sources to data warehouses or data lakes.
  • Create and maintain data models in Power BI
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive Power BI reports to analysts and decision-makers
  • You will work closely with the AI engineer and data analyst and improve the current processes using new technologies and AI.
  • Bring value to the business by designing, developing and deploying models in a responsible way.
  • Research proactively for novel methods to approach problems and challenges.
  • Support model deployment, with an emphasis on auditability, versioning, and data security.
  • Apply best practices to machine learning, including CI/CD and automation.

Talents that you use to continuously mitigate non financial risks for our stakeholders by applying data engineering and AI solutions. And thinking out of the box and asking questions. All will be well if you have a strong background in Data Engineering using Databricks and Power BI and also:

  • 2–4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles
  • Skilled in Python programming: Proficient in writing, debugging, and optimizing Python code for data engineering tasks
  • Experience in SQL
  • Experience with Azure Databricks: Hands-on experience with Databricks notebooks, workflows, and catalog, including developing and managing complex data pipelines
  • Experience with dimensional modelling in Power BI
  • Knowledge of Power Apps/Power Automate is a plus
  • Experience with AI frameworks (Tensorflow, Scikit-learn) and libraries such as OpenAI
  • A creative and problem-solving mindset with a keen interest in learning new technologies and trends
  • Good mastery of English, both oral and written.
