Associate Corporate Sustainability

As Associate Corporate Sustainability you will be leading Van Lanschot Kempen’s corporate sustainability efforts and will play a pivotal role in driving internal and external stakeholder engagement and helping execute the Corporate Sustainability team plan, representing Van Lanschot Kempen externally as well. Corporate Sustainability is part of the Strategy, Sustainability & Corporate Development team (SS&CD) within the CEO domain. You will report to the Head of Corporate Sustainability. 
 
That is what you will use your talents for as Associate Corporate Sustainability at Van Lanschot Kempen (“VLK”):  

  • Help to realise the VLK sustainability roadmap and periodically provide relevant data input to measure progress. 
  • Provide the sustainability input in corporate reporting and external publications (e.g. annual report).  
  • Provide periodic input for external sustainability benchmarks and ratings.  
    Create and provide sustainability trainings and workshops.  
  • Keep VLK’s corporate sustainability policies and corporate website up to date.

This is how we can best describe you in the position of Associate Corporate Sustainability. Talents that you use to guide Van Lanschot Kempen and its stakeholders in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box, and by asking questions and proposing solutions.   
 
You also have:  

  • Fluency in the Dutch language, both written and spoken. 
  • Passion for sustainability and several years work experience in driving positive change in professional services.  
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability regulation.  
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and sustainability data and metrics.  
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.  
  • Sustainability related academic background is a plus.
