I’ve had the privilege of working at Van Lanschot Kempen ever since I graduated from university, and during that time, I’ve held various positions. What I enjoy most about my current role is the opportunity to work together with colleagues, clients, and external parties to build long-term partnerships and deliver relevant solutions. And this fits me perfectly as someone who thrives on creativity and connecting with others.

When pursuing new partnerships, I always follow a simple yet effective formula: 1 + 1 = 3. This approach reflects our strong belief that any collaboration must benefit both parties and produce a meaningful impact for our clients. As a specialist active asset manager, it’s not always possible to do everything yourself. In a year marked by significant market volatility and a changing landscape, finding partnerships that drive mutual success and strengthen our ability to navigate these circumstances is more important than ever.

I’m proud of the milestones we reached in 2025 to remain future-proof and develop relationships that leverage and amplify our strengths by bringing partners on board.

Our partnership with State Street Investment Management is a brilliant example. By combining State Street’s excellent expertise in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), its scale, distribution, and technology, with our track record in managing active investment strategies, we’ll be well placed to further strengthen the solutions we provide. For our clients, this means easier access to our investment expertise via a range of active ETFs. As we continue to develop these active ETF solutions together, I am excited about the opportunities to deliver enhanced value for our clients.

 

Above all, I really enjoy collaborating with colleagues and partners to ensure that our clients are truly happy with the partnerships we build and the benefits they receive from them. When you join others in the creative process, the end result is always much more enjoyable.
