As a Senior Investment Strategist, you will shape investment strategy, develop market views, and deliver actionable insights to clients and stakeholders. Working closely with client advisors and portfolio managers, you’ll have broad exposure, numerous opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on clients and society.

Key responsibilities of you and the team include (but are not limited to):

Prepare long-term market outlooks, macro-economic scenarios, and long-term return assumptions;
Create thought leadership research on macroeconomics, markets, sustainability, asset classes and investment trends/themes, translating insights into clear investment guidance, aligned with client needs.
Develop and communicate tactical views through publications and client meetings, serve as a sparring partner for clients and colleagues.
Improve investment policy, processes and (responsible) use of AI.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if you also have:

Master’s degree in a relevant field, and/or a CFA or similar designation.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in investment strategy, portfolio management or macro research, preferably within an institutional asset management environment.
Intermediate quant programming skills (e.g. SQL and R / Python) and proficiency with market data tools (e.g. FactSet, Datastream).
Experience with alternative investments preferred.
Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex ideas clearly and convincingly to diverse audiences.
Entrepreneurial mindset, a true team player with ownership mentality and a drive for continuous learning. In addition, you always put the client's interests first.
Professional fluency in Dutch and English (verbal and written) is mandatory.
