As a Senior Specialist CDD, you are responsible for independently conducting complex customer investigations. What makes us unique is that we operate from a single department (Client Monitoring) where all activities related to Financial Crime, such as Transaction Monitoring, CDD, Sanctions, and Fraud, take place. This means you work at the centre of KYC domain and are involved in all its aspects. This is what you like to use your talents for as a Senior Specialist CDD. You will be engaged in investigating complex and high-risk cases and transactions on a daily basis. The goal is to efficiently monitor all customers, so that any risks of a customer being involved in financial economic crime can be quickly identified and allow you to act on those signals immediately.

Additionally, you will be involved in:

  • Identifying and initiating efficiency improvements. Demonstrating entrepreneurship by following up and implementing these improvements independently
  • Writing clear reports on investigations and forming sound judgements
  • Detecting methods and trends in the field of financial economic crime
  • Thinking proactively, including beyond the boundaries of your own responsibilities

By thinking ahead and asking questions, you enable them to serve our customers in a customer-oriented and proactive manner and to accurately assess risks.

Additionally, you have:

  • A completed WO or HBO education, preferably in law, criminology, or economics.
  • Relevant work experience, including experience in assessing transactions and customers in the field of Financial Crime. For a specialist role, we expect 1 or 2 years of relevant working experience. For a Senior Specialist role, we are looking for a minimum of 5 years of similar working experience.
  • Knowledge of the WWFT, Sanctions legislation, and money laundering methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of complex structures.
  • Strong knowledge and command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the French language is a plus.

  • A gross monthly salary between €3,600 and €4,400 for the Specialist role. For the Senior Specialist role, a gross monthly salary up to 5,300.
  • A flexible budget amounting to 19.47% of your gross salary. The budget consists of a 13th month, 8% holiday allowance, and 7 extra leave days. You can use this to buy a bike, your gym membership, or save up for a sabbatical! It is also possible to have the entire budget paid out at any time of the year.
  • 27 leave days, 7 of which are part of the flexible budget.
  • Home office equipment such as an electric sit-stand desk, chair, and screens of your choice. These will be ordered by us and delivered to your home.
  • A market-based pension scheme. The exact contribution is based on age and salary; in most cases, you can expect a contribution of about 20%, of which 4% is an employee contribution.
  • Various training opportunities.
