Do you want to help shape the Market Data strategy of a leading Benelux Wealth Manager? Do you have excellent stakeholder management skills, married with extensive experience of dealing with key Market Data providers, such as Bloomberg, Factset and S&P? Then this role could be your ideal next step.

 

You will be happy to use your talents as a Market Data Senior Specialist for Van Lanschot Kempen. You will be the subject matter expert for Market Data, working closely with all relevant business units in order to help optimise Market Data use and spend. You will combine working closely with internal stakeholders with your effective vendor management skills, in order to help Van Lanschot Kempen make the most of our Market Data contracts. You also have the following tasks: 

  • Manage relationships with key Market Data providers, including Bloomberg, Factset, S&P, LSEG and SIX.
  • Effective at stakeholder management, including collaborating with multiple stakeholders to discuss complex issues affecting multiple departments.
  • Comfortable explaining issues and presenting to senior management.
  • Translating new business needs into positive commercial outcomes via vendor negotiation.
  • Working closely with Market Data colleagues on a daily basis, as well as working closely with colleagues in Finance, Procurement and other related departments where required. 

Your talents

You have a sharp analytical mind, you are a team player and you know how to communicate complex matters to a variety of stakeholders. This is how we can best describe you in the position of Market Data Senior Specialist. Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. You also have: 

  • At least 5 years of experience working at the Market Data Analyst level, with demonstrable experience working with suppliers such as Bloomberg, Factset and S&P.
  • Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written. English and Dutch is essential. 
  • Strong knowledge of compliancy within Market Data contracts.
  • Experience with using Infomatch would be very helpful, but not essential.

  • a gross monthly salary between €5,500 and €7,400, commensurate with your knowledge and experience.
