Junior Control Officer

We are looking for a (junior) Control Officer in the Internal Control team. You will primarily contribute to risk management within the DAAT organization (Digital Advanced Analytics & Technology). You will also keep an open view on risk management within other parts of the Van Lanschot Kempen organization, as this domain develops processes and toolings that support other parts of the bank on a technological basis. You would have knowledge and experience related to risk management within a financial institution, combined with knowledge and experience focused on technology. Such as IT governance and control, Information security, Data management & analytics, Agile/Scrum software development, SaaS (Software as a Service), DevOps, Outsourcing and Cyber security.

You are jointly responsible for monitoring the risks arising from the above activities. You deploy the various risk tools, such as control testing, action and incident management or risk analysis, to support management in their risk management. All this leads to the fact that we get safe, robust and efficient processes within DAAT and that an In control statement can be signed by the management at the end of the year.

You will be: 

• Performing (key) control testing activities within the DevOps framework, among other things.
• Contributing to the creation of risk management reports.
• Handling incidents and performing root cause analysis.
• Monitoring follow-up action management.
• Facilitating Risk and Control (self) assessments.
• Setting up and maintaining the control framework.
• Participating in projects.
• Contributing to increasing risk awareness among employees.
