Van Lanschot Kempen is searching for an experienced HR Business Partner Manager to join and lead the HR Business Partner team. As an expert in your field, you will provide strategic HR advice to Management Teams and the Management Board, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing success and transformation of our organization.

Your talents

As HR Business Partner Manager, you will lead the HR BP team and act as a strategic advisor to management. Your core responsibilities include driving organizational change, managing talent and performance, guiding strategic workforce planning, and coaching and developing the HR BP team. Together with your team, you will contribute directly to the success of Van Lanschot Kempen, ensuring that our people strategy aligns with our business goals.

 

  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as an inspiring sparring partner for our Management Teams and Management Board, particularly in the areas of organizational behavior, change management, talent management, and strategic workforce planning.
  • Trusted Advisor: Build trust with stakeholders by utilizing data-driven insights in your HR advice.
  • Business Insight: Understand the business, its responsibilities, and challenges, and ensure that your HR support aligns with relevant policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Connector: Act as a bridge between business needs and HR expertise, working closely with other HR colleagues to translate organizational needs and trends into actionable HR policies and solutions.
  • Challenger: Encourage managers to take ownership of their HR responsibilities and support them in their development.

As our ideal candidate, you bring the following:

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 10 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Manager in a dynamic, client-centric organization.

  • Proven experience in leading organizational change projects and participation in works council processes.
  • Strong customer focus, always considering both employees and business in proposing solutions.
  • Team player: collaborate closely with others to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Advanced analytical skills: adept at analyzing and interpreting HR data, trends, and insights, and using them for strategic decision-making.
  • Thorough knowledge of Dutch employment law and the ability to source answers for new challenges.
  • Convincing communication skills in professional business English.
  • Coaching mindset: capable of developing and guiding team members.
  • Excellent communication, flexibility, persuasiveness, thoroughness, and persistence.

  • A gross monthly salary (exact range depending on your expertise and experience).
  • A flexible budget of 19.47% of your gross salary (includes 13th month, 8% holiday allowance, and 7 extra leave days), which you can use for a bike, gym membership, sabbatical, or receive as a payout at any time.
