In this role, you play a crucial part in the implementation and operational setup of WTP (Wet Toekomst Pensioenen – Future Pensions Act) for our fiduciary clients. You are responsible for the technical configuration and coordination of both internal and external operational structures related to WTP. As the central point of contact, you are able to independently align with all internal and external stakeholders regarding the operational activities that each partner in the WTP chain must carry out.

You have a clear understanding of the various (technical) requirements linked to both SPR and FPR and ensure smooth internal and external integration. Within the Third Party Monitoring team, you track progress during implementation, monitor external parties regarding (SLA) agreements, and act as an escalation point in case of missed deadlines and/or agreements.

Your responsibilities include:

Collaboration with clients, internal investment-related WTP experts, and keeping fiduciary advisors well-informed is also a key part of your responsibilities.
Take final responsibility for the correct operational setup, configuration, and maintenance for all clients and communication with stakeholders.
Act as operational representative & coordinator for VLK in WTP (chain) meetings.
Ensure consistent SLA & KPI agreements with chain partners.
Translate the theoretical WTP framework into a Target Operating Model (technical specifications).
Integrate WTP activities into Operations/VLK, including AO/IC, RSCA, and ISAE 3402.
Coordinate and take responsibility for operational onboarding/implementation of WTP client projects (project-based approach).
Monitor (including reviews & KPI reporting) and critically assess PUOs and custodians (chain parties), e.g., for NFR & Risk Management.
Align with involved functional teams in the chain.
Stay up to date with WTP developments, initiate improvements in the proposition, and act as a sparring partner for Fiduciary Management.
Support/lead colleagues within Operational Services with less WTP experience to ensure backup and continuity.
Communicate carefully about progress and bottlenecks with clients and internal stakeholders.
Other projects/initiatives may also be part of the role.

Your talents

Conceptual and practical knowledge of WTP and its operational impact on involved parties is required. Affinity with the operating model of pension funds—how these clients are structured and what elements influence their operational decisions regarding WTP—will help you be effective in this position.

You have:

Expertise in WTP: Demonstrable understanding of operational WTP processes, regulations, and market best practices.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You can challenge others when needed with your critical perspective.
Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including PUOs and other parties involved in the WTP process.
Problem Solving: Intrinsic motivation to identify and resolve operational challenges related to WTP implementation, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly adapt to changing regulations, market practices, and client needs to offer current and relevant WTP solutions. You are open to learning new things.
Project Management: Experience coordinating and leading project-based initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of WTP implementations for clients.
Dutch-speaking: Proficiency in Dutch is a requirement for this role.
