As Compliance Officer Employee Conduct at Van Lanschot Kempen with a you will work in the Compliance Office & Change team. This team advises the organization to promote employee integrity. In addition, it supports the internal processes of Compliance function in the areas of policy, contacts with supervisors, internal governance, training & awareness and coordinating various change initiatives.

 

You have a key role in promoting ethical behavior within our organization. You are partly responsible for the further development, design and implementation of a method that helps us understand what influences employee behavior (for example based on the conduct drivers framework) within Van Lanschot Kempen as an extension of our code of conduct. In addition, the focus is on compliance training & awareness for the organization. We strive for a learning organization by actively entering into dialogue and understanding what is going on within the organization. You are the linchpin and work closely with various departments to strengthen the organization by ensuring the connection between hard and soft elements of our compliance and risk management framework.

 

You are responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to employee integrity and behavioral risk. Maintaining compliance training and awareness policies.
  • Conducting risk assessments and investigations in the area of employee integrity and behavioral risk.
  • Broader advice in the field of employee integrity.
  • Monitoring and implementing market developments and changes in training & awareness in the field of employee integrity.
  • Creating and executing compliance training and awareness programs in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders within the organization's department.
  • Analyze data, trends, progress and evaluation of compliance training and, if necessary, follow up with stakeholders involved and answer their questions.

In addition, you have:

  • A completed relevant university degree, preferably in the field of behavioural sciences.
  • min 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within compliance and/or risk management and/or financial services.
  • Solid knowledge of market practice regarding behavioral risk and training & awareness
  • Experience in developing a soft controls (conduct drivers) framework and implementing it is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
