Working Student Quantitative Investments

Work with advanced backtesting and optimization tools to further improve our investment process. You combine investing, data, and technology in an educational role with direct impact. This gives you the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in practice within a professional investment environment.

You gladly contribute your talents as a Working Student Quantitative Investments at Van Lanschot Kempen. In this role, you support the team in analyzing, testing, and optimizing investment strategies using FactSet's backtest and optimizer module. You contribute to further professionalizing the investment process and translate quantitative insights into concrete improvement proposals.

Furthermore, you will be involved in:

• conducting backtests and analyzing the results

• supporting in optimizing investment models and processes

• processing and interpreting quantitative data for investment issues

• thinking about improvements in the use of FactSet within the team

• easily using known AI solutions to support you in your tasks

Talents that you use to guide our clients through a constantly changing world every day. By thinking further and asking questions. And that's great if you have an affinity for investing and enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology, and content. You enjoy quickly mastering new systems and working independently in an academic environment.

In addition:

• you are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree and are in the final stage of your studies

• you have an affinity for investing and quantitative analysis tools

• you are available for a minimum of 3 days a week for at least 3 months

• you can use simple AI applications to work more efficiently and accurately

• you have a good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing
