At Client Monitoring, part of the Client Administration & Monitoring Department, we are looking for an intern. Whether you are looking for an internship or a graduation internship, you have come to the right place. During the internship you will conduct research into the processes in which you work. Our Client Monitoring department is responsible for combating financial and economic crime, such as money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud. Together with your colleagues you will fulfill a gatekeeper role for our bank and society.

That is what you will use your talents for as a Transaction Monitoring Intern at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will participate in the daily activities of our department, so that you get a broad idea of the versatility of the work and can develop yourself optimally. We work together from one department where all customer and monitoring activities take place, so you stay informed of current developments and special cases.

You will have the opportunity to participate in inspiring training and awareness sessions, where you will not only increase your knowledge, but also expand your network. And let's not forget the fun drinks! You will also have the opportunity to come into contact with other interns throughout Van Lanschot Kempen through various events. After successfully completing your internship, you have the option to continue working with us, both during and after your studies. We value the growth and development of our interns and strive to retain talent within our team.

You will also have the following tasks:

  • Assessing transactions and customers in the field of sanctions regulations, fraud and money laundering;

  • Carrying out customer surveys;

  • Entering and checking customer data in various banking systems;

  • Proactively think about improvements, even beyond the boundaries of your own work.

Accurate, customer-oriented and analytical. This is how we can best describe you during the Transaction Monitoring Internship. You think ahead and ask the right questions. This is very important, as you always put the customer first and work together with your colleagues within the team.

In addition:

  • You are following a HBO education;
  • You have an affinity with topics such as financial crime and security;
  • You enjoy delving into customer research;
  • You are flexible and stress-resistant
  • You are enterprising and proactive;
  • You are available at least 40 hours per week for 20 weeks;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.

The Client Administration & Monitoring department is the extension of the commercial departments. The department is responsible for the most important administrative changes, such as opening and changing relationships.
