Trade & Derivatives is a dynamic part of Securities Operations, where Trade & Derivatives plays a key role in the administrative settlement and recording of both exchange and OTC transactions.

Within Trade & Derivatives, we have various product groups, including Confirmations Services, Settlements, Reconciliation, Agency Services, and OTC derivatives administration. As a Confirmation Service employee, you and your colleagues are responsible for the accurate, timely, and complete processing of executed transactions. You ensure the correct allocation to the client, open sub-accounts, and manage and maintain the static data for funds.

You work closely with the front office (dealing room), identify discrepancies, and resolve them or communicate them to the appropriate persons, departments, and counterparties. Additionally, your responsibilities include preparing MiFID reports, Fund Agent activities, maintaining process descriptions, and maintaining contact with both internal and external clients. You are the indispensable link between the front and back office, with a keen eye for efficiency and a talent for identifying automation or robotics opportunities.

We ask the following:

  • You have a higher professional education (HBO) or advanced vocational education (MBO+) in Banking and Insurance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the securities industry
  • Familiarity with process improvement
  • Good knowledge and experience with MS Excel
  • A practical approach and a "can-do" mentality
  • The desire to continuously learn and develop
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
