As a Junior Proposal Writer within our Presales team, you are responsible for the creation of high-quality responses to Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Proposals for clients, prospects and consultants. This role blends content creation, strategic thinking and project coordination.

That is what you will use your talents for as a Junior Proposal Writer at Van Lanschot Kempen. Besides the creation of proposal responses and DDQs, you are responsible for maintaining investment content for institutional clients, including RFP library content, presentations and consultant databases.

In summary you have the following tasks:

Producing high quality, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires under the guidance of experienced team members for prospect clients and existing clients.
Maintaining and improving standard materials for our investment strategies, such as brochures and presentations, working closely with Marketing professionals and in keeping with brand standards.
Collaborate closely with senior RFP team members, portfolio managers and subject matter experts to improve RFP answers, ensure key messages are understood, and present our capabilities in the most compelling way possible.
Lead automation efforts and AI adoption within the RFP process to improve efficiency and consistency.

In this position within Van Lanschot Kempen you will be actively contributing to realising our growth strategy. You are part of our Presales & Content Management team and you work closely within our proposal team on new business proposals in asset management for prospective (semi-)institutional clients. This involves understanding prospective clients’ business and situation, and tailoring how we communicate investment concepts to suit the client.

As a Proposal Writer, you work independently, but you also enjoy working together in an international, multidisciplinary team across a range of projects. You will work closely with our Sales & Marketing professionals, investment teams, fiduciary managers and other internal stakeholders (such as our Risk & Compliance departments).

This role can be based either in London or in Amsterdam.

You also have:

Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
0-3 years of experience in the asset management industry.
MSc in Finance of Business (or equivalent).
A genuine interest in investing and a curiosity for how the financial world operates.
Good mastery of English, both verbal and written.

A gross monthly salary between €3.600 and €4500, commensurate with your knowledge and experience.
Additional flexible budget of 19.47% of your gross salary (containing a 13th month, 8% holiday allowance & 7 extra legal leave days) You can utilize this by buying a bike, monthly gym membership, but also to save up for a sabbatical!
It’s also possible to get the full budget paid out at any moment in the year.
27 leave days of which 7 are part of the flexible budget.
1 month fully paid when you take a sabbatical of 3 months or longer.
