As a VP / Director at Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Banking for the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector, you are ready to be part of a dynamic international team, take a high degree of responsibility and make an impact from day one. You are looking to take your career to the next level in a specialist investment bank, advising European clients on M&A, debt, and equity capital markets solutions focused on the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector.

That is what you will use your talents for as an Investment Banking VP / Director at Van Lanschot Kempen.

You also have the following tasks:

Key member of the Corporate Finance Life Science & Healthcare team and make an active contribution to the team’s business development and deal execution activities;
Leading transactions in typical investment banking areas such as M&A, strategic finance advisory, ECM, and alternative financing (venture debt, royalty financing, etc);
Monitoring and analyzing the European LS&H market and sector trends, the performance of companies within the sector and uses his/her network and interpersonal skills to identify and originate opportunities such as mergers, acquisitions and disposals and IPOs;
Managing the client relationship and full execution process of a complex transaction, supported by a deal team, as well as assisting the client in deal negotiations;
Whilst in deals, manages the transactional Corporate Finance team and –where relevant –other product specialists, ensuring timelines and making sure the client’s objectives are met.

And all will be well if you also have a proven track record of dealing with innovative life sciences companies active in drug development, health technologies and relevant services providers (CDMO, CRO, …).

You also have:

•At least 8-12 years work experience in corporate finance, or strategy advisory, sell/buy side or corporate within the Life Science & Healthcare sector

• Life Sciences & Healthcare study and/or industry experience would be advantaged, but not necessary. Knowledge of the sector, but especially the motivation to develop your career in this sector is paramount!

•Proven track record of successful executing various investment banking transactions and managing teams to successful outcomes;

• Good mastery of English, both oral and written.
