This is where you will apply your talents as an HR Business Partner at Van Lanschot Kempen. The HR Business Partner provides strategic, policy-oriented, and results-driven support and advice. In this role, you are ultimately responsible for delivering HR impact within your domain and guiding the execution of our HR Change Roadmap. As an expert in your field, you connect multiple HR themes—such as talent, leadership, performance, and organizational design—into coherent solutions for the business. You translate strategic questions into concrete interventions and ensure their successful implementation. You guide organizational change end-to-end, from design to implementation and follow-up, ensuring plans are fully embedded in practice.
As a trusted advisor to senior management, you influence decision-making at a strategic level. You address complex, multidisciplinary challenges, assemble and lead project teams, and are responsible for formulating policy positions, preparing decision-making, and realizing initiatives from the HR Change Roadmap, actively steering progress and results.
In practice, you will work on:
Tactical/strategic HR advisory: Advising executive leadership and senior management on key organizational and HR decisions and influencing strategic decision-making.
Organizational development: Translating organizational goals into measurable change initiatives in talent, culture, and leadership.
HR innovation: Leveraging data and technology (including AI) to design smarter, more efficient, and more effective HR processes and translating new developments into practical solutions.
Sparring partner & coach: Supporting the development of business leaders and collaborating with HR colleagues to strengthen leadership and organizational impact, without direct hierarchical authority.
Project & program management: Leading strategic HR initiatives and ensuring alignment with business strategy and organizational objectives.
Stakeholder management: Acting as the primary HR point of contact for senior management and working closely with executive leadership and other stakeholders to integrate HR strategies into the business.
Your talents
An effective HR Business Partner creates impact without formal authority and translates complex challenges into tangible results. You take ownership of strategic HR topics and bring structure and direction in a dynamic environment. You easily switch between strategy and execution and influence stakeholders in a convincing and goal-oriented way.
You navigate complex organizational contexts with ease, build sustainable relationships, and understand the (political) dynamics of decision-making. With a forward-looking mindset, you position HR as a driving force behind performance, transformation, and sustainable growth. Through coaching and inspiration, you strengthen leadership and contribute to a high-performing and collaborative organization.
In addition, you have:
A completed university (WO) degree with extensive experience (8–12 years) as an HR Business Partner, including several years at senior management or executive level;
Broad and in-depth knowledge of the HR domain;
Deep insight into organizational policies, structures, and strategy, with the ability to translate these into impactful HR solutions;
Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to operate effectively at management and executive level;
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

A gross monthly salary between €6,500 and €8,000, commensurate with your knowledge and experience;
An additional flexible budget of 19.47% of your gross salary (containing a 13th month, 8% holiday allowance & 7 extra legal leave days) You can utilize this by buying a bike, monthly gym membership, but also to save up for a sabbatical! It’s also possible to get the full budget paid out at any moment in the year;
