Functional Application Manager – Lending

That is where you are happy to use your talents. As a Lending Platform Specialist Lending, you are part of a DevOps team that is responsible for the end‑to‑end functioning and improvement of our Lending chain. You work according to Agile Scrum and liaise daily with colleagues in IT and the business. You translate needs into concrete solutions and ensure that Lending applications are reliable, compliant and user‑friendly.

You will also be involved in:

  • Functional management of Lending applications for mortgages and business loans.
  • Analysing, prioritising and specifying changes, incidents and chain improvements.
  • Optimising end‑to‑end processes within the Lending chain.
  • Drafting requirements, user stories and test scenarios, and coordinating SIT/UAT.
  • Supporting users, safeguarding data quality and keeping documentation up to date.
  • Collaborating within a DevOps team on continuous improvement, stable releases and high quality.
  • Applying AI solutions in your way of working so that processes run more smoothly and you achieve better results.

In addition, you have:

  • Knowledge of mortgage and/or lending processes.
  • Experience with functional management, business analysis or chain management.
  • Experience with testing, process modelling and requirements analysis.
  • AI skills: using GitHub Copilot and Generative AI.
  • A willingness to keep developing yourself continuously.
  • Good command of the Dutch language.

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,500 and €5,500, depending on your knowledge and experience.
  • A flexible budget of 19.47% of your gross salary. This budget consists of a 13th month, 8% holiday allowance and 7 additional days of leave. You can use it to buy a bicycle, pay for your gym membership, or even save for a sabbatical. It is also possible to have the full budget paid out at any time during the year.
  • A share plan in which Van Lanschot Kempen matches your investment (up to €3,500 per year) in Van Lanschot Kempen shares.
  • 27 days of leave, of which 7 are part of the flexible budget.
  • A Van Lanschot Kempen bank account provided to you and other employee benefits, such as a discount on an Evi (investment) account.
  • A childcare budget for working parents with children aged 0–12 years.
  • A market‑conform pension scheme. The exact contribution is based on age and salary; in most cases you can expect a contribution of around 20%, of which 4% is the employee contribution.
  • The possibility to work from abroad for up to 2 months per year.
