Create your own future

As a Functional Application Manager within the Allround Team, you are responsible for the operational management of our Core Banking back-office systems.

This gives you a direct impact on the daily practice of our colleagues and customers, which makes your work varied and challenging. You will encounter different processes that can be simple or highly complex. Within the team, we work according to the agile scrum methodology: you work together in short sprints towards concrete goals and improvements.

Your role consists of a broad and clear set of tasks:

  • You answer user questions and ensure the system runs smoothly.
  • You detect disruptions or potential bottlenecks and take immediate action to guarantee the continuity and reliability of the system.
  • You actively look for opportunities to make processes and systems smarter, more efficient, and user-friendly.
  • You are involved in change projects, for example when new laws and regulations are introduced or when new modules need to be added to the system.
  • You analyze process and system issues, resolve them, and carefully test proposed modifications before they go live.
  • You work closely with internal users, vendors, key users, and your direct colleagues. Together, you make sure that user questions and issues are handled quickly and professionally.

If working in a dynamic environment appeals to you, then this position is a perfect fit!

Your talents

Customer-oriented, entrepreneurial and versatile. This is how we can best describe you in the position of Functional Application Manager. You think along with users, ask the right questions, and switch quickly between various topics and responsibilities.

What do you bring?

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience as an application manager
  • Affinity for collaboration and relationship building: you easily connect with colleagues both within and outside the team
  • Experience with system testing, problem analysis, and implementing solutions
  • Experience with SQL programming is a plus
  • Preferably experience in working with monitoring tools
  • Preferably knowledge of securities and back-office processes within financial services
