Create your own future

Oversee external service providers for investment funds at Van Lanschot Kempen. Connect internal stakeholders and providers across liquid and illiquid fund operations. Improve monitoring and reporting by identifying relevant AI-driven opportunities.

That is what you will use your talents for as an Expert Third Party Management at Van Lanschot Kempen. In this role, you manage and monitor outsourced operational services for liquid and illiquid funds domiciled in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. You act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external service providers, safeguard service levels and actively look for AI-driven improvements.

You also have the following tasks:

  • Lead launches, mergers and liquidations of Van Lanschot Kempen investment funds independently, with minimum guidance.

  • Contribute to fund-related projects, including investment transitions and restructurings.

  • Act as first point of contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers on topics such as fund accounting, transfer agency and custody.

  • Manage the service provider relationship through service calls, service reviews, site visits, operational due diligence, KPI monitoring, SLA maintenance and incident management.

  • Identify and explore AI use cases to improve monitoring, reporting and service provider oversight processes.

Your talents

Energetic, responsible and entrepreneurial. This is how we can best describe you in the position of Expert Third Party Management. Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if you enjoy working in a professional organisation with short lines of communication, where you can solve complex problems, challenge existing solutions and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You also have:

  • 5–10 years of relevant work experience and a relevant academic master’s degree.

  • Proven affinity with investment funds, including knowledge of fund accounting, transfer agency and custody.

  • Knowledge of and/or experience with illiquid funds, such as private equity.

  • Confident in evaluating and adopting new AI tools relevant to your field.

  • Good mastery of English, both oral and written. Mastery of Dutch is a plus.
