We are looking for starter/junior who wants to develop in the field of managing and developing BI applications, data warehousing, and Power BI. This is your chance to gain experience in a complex and dynamic environment at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will collaborate with current application managers and developers, supporting them in the daily operations of the (BI) applications within three Data warehouses.

That is what you will use your talents for a Specialist in Data Managament in the Operations team of the Data Management department at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will utilize your (technical) knowledge, analytical skills, and communication abilities to proactively manage the applications and resolve any (production) incidents.

You will work closely with experienced professionals in a diverse team who are eager to teach you the tricks of the trade. Dedication, commitment, and professionalism are key within the Data Management department.

You also have the following tasks:

  • Attending scrum activities, such as daily meetings with development teams;
  • Testing and implementing new releases according to the Scrum methodology;
  • Developing appropriate data flows in the data warehouses;
  • Supporting ITIL processes, such as incident, problem, change, and configuration management.

In addition:

  • You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in an ICT-related field, or you have received training in similar areas;
  • You are proficient in SQL and Databricks;
  • You have experience with PowerBI; 
  • Familiarity with financial services is a plus;
  • You are eager to learn and have the desire to bring out the best in yourself;
  • You have a good command of the English language, both verbally and in writing.
