As a Client Administration Officer, you are part of a motivated team that forms the Mid Office of the bank, acting as an extension of the commercial department. You work for colleagues and clients of Private Clients Netherlands and Belgium, as well as for Investment Bank and Investment Management. Additionally, you collaborate closely within a team to deliver an optimal customer experience. That is what you will use your talents for as Client Administration Officer at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will perform a wide range of tasks related to, among other things: payments, credits, investments, savings, death, minors/adults, online banking, terminating relationships, or data quality. What is unique about the Client Administration department is that over time, you can learn new subjects and thus shape your own development path and daily tasks. At this moment, we are specifically looking for a new colleague for credit-related tasks.

You also have the following tasks: 

  • Preparing contracts and other documentation;
  • Coordinating customer matters and custom solutions with colleagues in the commercial department;
  • Entering data into our customer systems;
  • Contributing to improvements within the department;
  • Participating in project tasks.

Accurate, results-oriented and a “can do mentality”. This is how we can best describe you as a Client Administration Officer. Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if you also have an affinity with administrative processes, pick up new processes quickly and can suggest improvements. 

You also have:

  • an HBO work and thinking level;
  • the WFT basic certificate (or be willing to obtain this soon);
  • relevant work experience, particularly in the area of credit-related tasks, is a plus but not a requirement;
  • fluency in the the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

Client Administration currently consists of approximately 95 employees and is constantly evolving to keep up with developments both within and outside the bank. Every day, we process around 2,000 customer orders for the Netherlands and Belgium. To stay ahead, we continuously implement further digitalization and optimizations. We work with interfacing, robotics, workflows, and AI, among other things. All these innovations aim to contribute to an optimal customer experience, operational excellence, and compliance with laws and regulations. Good collaboration within the department, as well as with other departments, is very important in this regard.
