That's what you like to use your talents for as an Azure platform engineer Van Lanschot Kempen. You are technically savvy, love developing and also know how to get people moving in the right way to add the right value to the product as independently as possible.

 

Furthermore, you are busy with:

  • Solving technical problems;
  • Implementing code improvements (YAML, PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, Azure CLI...);
  • Sharing knowledge (inside and outside the team);
  • Azure DevOps (boards, repos, pipelines);
  • Azure Resource management (SA, ADF, Databricks);
  • Networking;
  • Permissions (RBAC);
  • Entra;
  • Databricks: Unity Catalog administrative tasks.

You are curious, focused on good collaboration and have the courage to ask through to the why behind stakeholders' needs. That's how we can best describe you. In addition, you have:

  • At least 3 years of work experience;
  • You have demonstrable experience with Azure Cloud;
  • You have demonstrable experience creating automated deployments;
  • You have experience within a Data environment;
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Experience within financial institutions is a plus;
  • Knowledge of Databricks is a plus.

With almost 300 years of experience, we make that ambition a reality at Van Lanschot Kempen. We do so with some 2,200 colleagues spread across different areas of expertise.

 

The Data Management department is part of the Digital Advanced Analytics and Technology (DAAT) cluster. DAAT has more than 400 employees who play an important role within the organization. Within DAAT we provide a technology platform for asset management of the highest class. Data Management consists of about 70 colleagues divided into 8 teams, each with their own focus. Together the teams are responsible for maintaining, improving and testing the data platform and the various DWH. The roles within the department are very different, ranging from Developer to Data Architect, from Functional Administrator to Product Owner. The teams start the week together, sometimes enjoying a real Brabant (vegan/vegetarian) sausage roll or Bossche Bol. We also have a Fun stuff team that organizes get-togethers and other activities.

  • A gross monthly salary between €5400 and €8400, depending on your knowledge and experience.
