Authorization Management - Internship

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our Authorization Management Team. Our team is responsible for the management of all Authorizations and Identities within the company. For this role we want you to help build and manage one of the most important tools to be able to manage our Authorizations. 

At Van Lanschot Kempen, the department manager is responsible for granting access rights to new employees. Currently, there is no clear and user-friendly way for managers to periodically review the current access rights of their employees. 

A periodic review of access rights is of great added value to the Identity and Access Management processes within Van Lanschot Kempen, ensuring that the access rights of existing colleagues remain up to date. 

To enable this periodic review, a new module needs to be developed. 
The internship assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to: 

• Creating an attestation module. 
• Automating the processing of input. 
• Potentially enforcing periodic checks. 

In collaboration with the team, you will contribute to the development of a modern attestation module designed to furnish input concerning current authorizations and roles. To accomplish this objective, we require your assistance in the following tasks: 

• Enhance existing user stories by identifying who will utilize the attestation module and detailing its usage. 
• Design an intuitive and contemporary user interface. 
• Program the front end using React/JavaScript (other languages are welcome). 
• Design and construct the backend on Azure, focusing on data access, management, and storage. 
• Establish a method for integrating the attestation module with the current access management system (SmartAIM).
