We are looking for a motivated SOC Analyst who can strengthen our Security Operations Center (SOC) with their talent and passion for cybersecurity. Are you interested in working for an organization that highly values and prioritizes Cyber Security? Do you want to learn and excel in an environment that gives you room for initiative while being part of an experienced and established Blue Team? Then this role might be for you.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the day-to-day activities of the SOC. You will triage and investigate security alerts, analyze potential threats, participate in incident response activities and help assess, contain and remediate security risks. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will continuously develop your technical and analytical skills while helping to protect the organization against evolving cyber threats.

In addition, there are opportunities to contribute to initiatives such as threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response simulations and vulnerability management. We use state-of-the-art security technologies, and our detection capabilities are continuously challenged and improved through our Red Team and Purple Team exercises.

You can also work on:

  • Implementation of new detections based on emerging threats and threat intelligence.

  • Automation of incident handling and alert enrichment to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • External attack surface monitoring, including the identification of phishing, fraud and impersonation attempts.

  • Security exercises and simulations to test and improve our detection and response capabilities.

Your talents

Curiosity, persistence, and a healthy sense of suspicion. That's how we would describe a successful SOC Analyst embracing the assume breach mindset. You are eager to learn, enjoy solving problems, and are motivated to continuously develop your cybersecurity skills. To thrive in this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has up to 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, a SOC environment, or another role involving security monitoring and analysis.

  • Has a relevant educational background (Hbo or Wo) in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Has a basic understanding of networking concepts, security monitoring, and incident response processes.

  • Has experience with SIEM technologies and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, or is eager to develop these skills.

  • Has a critical mindset and enjoys analyzing complex situations and solving problems.

  • Is comfortable sharing ideas, actively seeks feedback, and contributes to open discussions within the team.

  • Enjoys collaborating with colleagues across different teams and disciplines.

  • Is curious about new technologies and open to using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
