Senior Specialist Reporting

Create your own future

Are you a true team player that enjoys analytical work and isn’t afraid of tight deadlines? Do you want to contribute to our ambition to streamline the regulatory reporting process, particularly in the area of financial reporting (FinRep)? Then there’s a place for you in our team!

The Reporting team is responsible for all financial reports sent to our regulator, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Key figures such as our capital and liquidity ratios are calculated, analyzed, and reported by the Reporting team. Preparing these figures and reports is an extensive and complex process.

Additionally, the team is involved in various internal projects and changes due to laws and regulations. With you on board, the Reporting team will consist of seven people. This is a relatively small team, meaning everyone has a lot of responsibility and works on multiple reports.

That's what you like to use your talents for as Senior Specialist Reporting at Van Lanschot Kempen. In addition, you will have the following tasks:

  • Analyzing (financial) data;
  • Delivering various (supervisory) reports, initially focusing on FinRep and DGS;
  • Ensuring the reports comply with laws and regulations;
  • Contributing to the further streamlining of reports;
  • Determining, together with the team, whether and how to report on new products, acquisitions, and other “specials”;
  • Making the impact of new reporting requirements and regulations clear and translating them into data requirements.

Your talents

As Senior Specialist Reporting, you will have the opportunity to thoroughly study regulations. You will delve into the details and make connections with other reports, thereby developing both in-depth knowledge and strategic insights. Effective collaboration, both within and outside the team, is crucial. Additionally, you are analytically strong, take initiative, and ensure the quality of the reporting process by balancing timeliness and accuracy of information. Furthermore, you have:

  • A completed bachelor's degree;
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in preparing financial reports, preferably at a financial institution;
  • Affinity for data (analysis), preferably in a reporting environment;
  • Strong communication skills both in Dutch and English;
  • Knowledge of banking products and processes and/or prudential regulations.
