Reporting Change Team: Data Governance – Internship

You are interested in the financial sector, Investment Management and data in particular. You enjoy learning about data flows and the way data ultimately land into the reports of our Institutional and Fiduciary clients. Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management is currently undergoing an impactful change program in which we aim to become more digital, agile and were we strive for higher quality client reporting. As an intern you can play a vital role in this program, by looking for improvements, for instance in searching for possibilities to automate throughout the reporting chain.

 

Your talents

You can showcase your talents as an Intern within the Reporting Change team. The Reporting Change team is part of the Reporting & Performance team within Operational Services and the team fully dedicated to the Future State Reporting change program. In this teams  you act as a liaison between the business and the IT development teams.  During your internship you can get to know the inner workings of implementing such a large scale change program within Investment Management, and make your contribution by showing your ability to learn, pro-activeness and entrepreneurial mind-set. 

Specific tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the different data suppliers/owners in the Reporting Chain, visualize the data flow and activities
  • Collecting insights from the stakeholders to determine necessary data quality checks throughout the Reporting Chain
  • Identifying error-prone activities and opportunities for automation
  • Assuring data quality checks are well embedded in the organization
     

You can join us as an intern starting in January 2025. An earlier or later start date may also be discussed.
