Product Owner Workplace Platform – Amsterdam / Den Bosch

As the Product Owner of the Workplace Platform team, you are responsible for steering, further modernizing, and optimizing our workspaces. You ensure that our more than 2,200 colleagues in the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, and the USA have access to the best tools and technologies to effectively perform their work. You work together with a scrum team of 6 motivated and enthusiastic IT Professionals within the IT Workplace Services domain.

 

In your role as Product Owner, you have a strong affinity for the technical aspect of the IT workplace and closely follow its developments. You are familiar with the challenges that come with workplace management, and the modern workplace is not an unfamiliar term to you. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Managing the product backlog and translating it into an effective product roadmap
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand the organization's needs and goals and determining how they can be achieved through our workplace technology.
  • Leading planning sessions with the team and setting expectations for the delivery of new features.
  • Collaborating with the team to establish the right priorities and determine which projects will have the greatest impact on our users and the organization.
  • Effectively communicating with the team and stakeholders to align on product goals and priorities.


Location:
This role can be performed from our office in Amsterdam or Den Bosch.

Do you have a strong sense of responsibility, the ability to easily connect with stakeholders, are you a communicator who dares to make choices, can you translate a vision into concrete technical solutions, and know how to effectively map them out in a roadmap? Then we are looking for you!

 

What do you bring to our team?

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (in Dutch and English): you can confidently address both, a Management Team and a development team and effectively convey your message.
  • A strong passion for technology and innovations in the IT workplace domain is a plus.
  • You are curious and eager to learn.
  • You have analytical skills: you can map out business or technical processes and based on that, create epics and user stories.
  • You have experience with Agile work methods.
  • You are a team player and connector.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience within the IT workplace domain.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt quickly in a complex, dynamic organization.
