The use of ICT and the rapid advancement of technology ensure that the expectations of our end user grows every day. To enable our end users in a better way, it is important to emphasize the quality and impact of IT services from the end user’s perspective.

In September 2024 we’ve started our XLA journey (Xperience Level Agreement) to measure the happiness of our employees on their IT equipment. We are now ready to move to the next stage and that is by defining metrics, collecting data and providing this data into usefull insights to boost our end user experience instead just focussing on technical performance and reach the SLA (Service Level Agreement) targets.

We are looking for an intern who will take our first SLA baby steps to the next level by defining the essential XI's (Xperience Indicator's) and identify the XLA data sources and align all technical supporting data to the XI's. After that you will provide this data into a useful dashboard and embed this into our teams.

The Intern will be part of the Workplace Platform DevOps team. With the team’s guidance (and the support of the Chief Product Owner of the IT Workplace Services cluster), you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of the several IT data sources that can be used and to further develop our IT services in the world of IT DevOps Engineering with a strong focus on the user expierence. You will contribute indirectly to the development of the modern workplace by providing useful insights in the needs and demands of our colleagues worldwide, something with which you will enable all our colleagues directly and they will all benefit from.

That is what you will use your talents for in the IT Data Engineer Internship at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will help the Workplace Platform team by further develop the XLA method and provide useful insights in the needs and requirements from our end users by collecting and analyzing data based on the XI metrixs.

You will have the following tasks:

Investigate and define the Xperience Indicator's with the most important stakeholders;
Identify all data sources that support these XI's;
Develop a dashboard that combines these data into a single source of truth;
Present the data from the dashboard with useful insights.

And all will be well if you also can work independently and as part of a team.

In addition:

You are 2nd/3rd year HBO/WBO student in ICT, Computer Science, Business & IT or similar courses;
You are available for a minimum of 5 months for a minimum of 32 hours per week;
You have interest (or already gained knowledge) in data analysis or workplace management via Intune;
You are interested (or have already gained knowledge) in IT service management;
You have good mastery of English, both oral and written.
