Full-Stack Developer - Python

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will work in a multidisciplinary scrum team developing tools to provide the data-driven foundations needed by investment professionals in the organization for fiduciary management and manager selection. This entails the implementation and maintenance of backend APIs, interfaces to databases and APIs, an Angular frontend, as well as acting as second line of defence for data issues and driving process automation. Our tech stack consists of Python and C# for backend and data processing, SQL to store data and JavaScript/Typescript for the frontend (using Angular).

 

You will have the opportunity to contribute to all components of our software platform supporting investment processes and analytics, taking ownership, and actively sharing your ideas and suggestions for improvements. You adhere to our high-quality standards, ensuring deliverables are maintainable and production ready. You assert that all pipelines are executing properly, your code is thoroughly tested, and you keep an eye out for performance enhancements.

Your talents

  • at least 3 years of experience preferably in the Financial Industry.
  • an educational background (e.g. Bachelor, Masters, PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent field.
  • proficient Python programming and SQL skills.
  • real-life experience with C# and a modern web framework (preferably Angular).
  • experience with (Azure) cloud platform deployments is a plus.
  • familiarity with financial instruments and investment processes is an advantage.

The Investment Management Technology & Analytics (IMTA) department provides the technology and analytics in the Investment Management Clients (IMC) domain of Van Lanschot Kempen. The IMC domain covers all in-house and externally selected investment products, solutions, and services. This leads to a combination of fiduciary and investment management capabilities that further accelerates the creation of a fully integrated wealth manager.

 

IMTA has, amongst various DevOps teams, two Analytical teams that consist of highly skilled and motivated Data Analysts, Machine Learning Engineers & BI Dashboarding specialists. You work for the entire Wealth Manager creating applications, models, tools and dashboards for the commercial organization, investment management and staff departments.
