DevOps Engineer

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the way we communicate with our clients, where customer experience takes center stage. As DevOps Engineer, you have considerable influence on how this communication will look like by further developing and improving our Enterprise Content Management system (Kofax Communications Manager). Clients in the Netherlands, Belgium, Evi, and independent wealth managers frequently receive official documents such as contracts, deeds, and letters that are generated through Kofax. 


That is what you will use your talents for as a DevOps Engineer at Van Lanschot Kempen. Your work consists of gathering requirements from our stakeholders, analyzing those requirements, and devising solutions within our current capabilities. Currently, we only use Kofax for our Private Banking clients, but your role as a DevOps Engineer is forward-thinking and always seeking opportunities for improvement. Your keen eye will proactively identify and analyze future process enhancements, ensuring that our communication with clients is always evolving and exceeding expectations.


You have the following responsibilities: 


  • Develop new customer documentation using our ECM system, Kofax Communications Manager (KCM).
  • Automate and standardize business processes in conjunction with our CRM system and other core business applications. 
  • Proactively identify and analyze future process improvements."

And all will be well if you are proactive in identifying process improvements and have a strong drive to develop yourself in Enterprise Content Management systems. 

In addition: 

  • Around one year of programming experience;
  • Basic understanding of XML;
  • At least one year of programming experience in SQL;
  • You communicate well within a broad stakeholder field;
  • Experience with ECM products such as Kofax (KCM) would be a plus, but being eager to receive training on it is equally relevant;
  • Good knowledge of the English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written. Speaking French is a plus.

The Matrix & Document Management team exists of analysts, developers, business representatives, and functional administrators who have various areas of focus, such as financing, savings, CRM, and document management. The team consists of 15 individuals, and in your daily tasks, you will have close contact with the Product Management Investment, Financing departments, and Customer Administration department.

  • a gross monthly salary between € 3.500,- and € 4.200,- appropriate to your knowledge and experience.
