We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate intern to support the CMO Analytics team. You will directly get your hands dirty with data and programming. You will work among other highly motivated people who all aim to deliver business value by deploying data tools ready to be used.

That is what you will use your talents for as a Driving Data Analytics Intern at Van Lanschot Kempen. You will use your people & communication skills to inspire, convince and support digital and data adoption. During this internship you will work in a dynamic environment with various multidisciplinary DevOps teams and departments like the commercial colleagues of the Private Bank, Investment & Fiduciary Managers and Operations teams like Client Monitoring.

You also have the following tasks:

Work with a Product Owner and specialist to gather project requirements and implement a plan of action;
Work on data visualisation using preferably Power BI;
Develop or improve machine learning models;
Work with Azure DevOps and Azure Data Factory;
Create and maintain data engineering pipelines that fuel our ML models.

Your talents

Dynamic, outgoing and digital savvy. This is how we can best describe you in the position of Driving Data & Analytics Intern. Talents that you use to guide our customers in a constantly changing world every day. By thinking out of the box and asking questions. And all will be well if you also are analytical, result-oriented and have a hands-on mentality. In addition:

You are master's student in computer science, econometrics, statistics, data science or analytics with one or two courses in statistics, machine learning, data science or software development;
You have hands-on knowledge on backend programming, preferably python/SQL and front-end implementation in JavaScript/Node JS;
You have a good knowledge of PowerBI and Data Bricks;
You are available for at least 5 months for 32 to 40 hours a week;
You are passionate about new technology and tools and like to work with data;
Finance background and knowledge is a nice to have;
You have a good mastery of English, both oral and written.

Enabling the entire Wealth Manager supercharging their decision-making by creating models, tools & dashboards for the commercial organisation, investment management and staff departments like Internal Control and Compliance. The teams work cloud native (Azure), with the latest techniques and languages. The department drives the organisation to work increasingly data-driven!
