Control Officer

Create your own future

As a Control Officer in the Internal Control team, you primarily contribute to risk management within the DAAT organization (Digital Advanced Analytics & Technology). You also maintain an open view on risk management within other parts of the Van Lanschot Kempen organization, as this domain develops processes and tools that support other parts of the bank on a technological basis. This includes IT governance and control, Information security, Data management & analytics, Agile/Scrum software development, SaaS (Software as a Service), DevOps, Outsourcing, and Cyber security.

You are also jointly responsible for monitoring the risks that arise from these activities. You utilize various risk instruments, such as control testing, action and incident management, or risk analysis, to support management in their risk management efforts. All of this leads to the establishment of secure, robust, and efficient processes within DAAT, and at the end of the year, the management can sign an In Control statement.

As a Control Officer you will be engaged in:

  • Performing (key) control testing activities within the DevOps framework;
  • Contributing to the creation of risk management reports;
    Handling incidents and conducting root cause analyses;
  • Monitoring the follow-up of action management;
  • Facilitating Risk and Control (self) assessments;
  • Establishing and maintaining the control framework;
  • Participating in projects;
  • Contributing to increasing risk awareness among employees.
