CDD Prep Analyst - Working Student

Are you looking for a nice job next to your studies in which you can work within an enthusiastic team with plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and get to know the banking world? As a CDD Prep Analyst, you and your colleagues in the Client Monitoring team are responsible for analyses that contribute to counteracting the effects of financial and economic crime. You are committed to preparing customer surveys and identifying risks on a daily basis. The aim is to monitor all clients efficiently, so that the risks of financial and economic crime are quickly identified and we at Van Lanschot Kempen can act immediately on these signals.

As a CDD Prep Analyst, your tasks include:

• Writing clear studies and forming a well-founded opinion;

• Identifying methods and trends in the field of financial and economic crime;

• Proactively think about efficiency improvements, even beyond the boundaries of your own tasks.

What makes us unique is that we work from one department (Client Monitoring) where all Financial Crime activities such as Transaction Monitoring, CDD and Fraud Screening take place. With this, we offer you the opportunity to get acquainted with a wide variety of activities and to develop yourself in multiple areas, in breadth or depth. Initially, you will start on the CDD work, where you will come across different variants for both our Dutch and Belgian customers. Over time, there are various options to expand your range of tasks. This could be a further deepening in the field of monitoring, but also administrative work to support our commercial colleagues.

Your talents

• You are available for at least 6 months, between 16 hours and 40 hours per week;

• You are a generalist who is familiar with business processes and can apply different research methods. You have knowledge of analysis techniques for assessing customers and you enjoy performing analyses;

• You know how to carry out a thorough analysis and write it down factually and concisely;

• You have some knowledge of the Wwft, sanctions legislation and money laundering methods and techniques;

• You have at least WFT basis, or are willing to achieve this;

• You are fluent in Dutch (at least C2 level);

• Speaking French is an advantage, but not mandatory (minimum B2 level).
